Great cause but that statistic of 1 in 26 sounds way off. The little bit I am looking online also shows a FAR lower rate. Wonder where they are getting that from. Does that number sound way off to...

The Epilepsy Foundation says 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy sometime in their life.

From experience I can say that they are many children who have childhood epilepsy who basically outgrow it once they reach adulthood so you can have epilepsy for just part of your life which will play...

Folks are assuming you have epilepsy your entire life. Not true. There is nothing inconsistent with 1 in 26 having it at some point and 1 in 100 having it today. I have two relatives, one who had it...
